I wanted to at least give an idea of the horror that Adan and Eva will face. It would be an awfully short novel if they died in chapter 3 though haha. Next chapter I'm going to expand on Havenwood and introduce some new characters.

I had a lot of fun writing Drunk Adero. Let me know what you thought about the story. I know this isn't quite as wholesome, but I wanted to inject a little bit of grey into the moral dilemma for our trusty protagonist.

I think I'll refrain from entering the contest right away. I'm actively working on two stories at the same time while doing research and other preproduction ideas for a third right now. Good luck with the contest though!

Thanks for your input! I think I might be adding more slice of life flair to my current story I'm working on. It isn't uploaded yet, but I plan on it being a romance between friends where they realize they're in love, and then add some action and horror later on. Hopefully you'll enjoy it as much as I've been enjoying GiG!

Obvious question would probably be how did you get this all done? I've been trying to do a sort of slive of life feel with my own stories (shameless plug here lol) but I feel like I'm not getting it right. Moments, sure. But overall, not at all.

officially caught up! I like the story a lot! I was caught off guard by how secually liberated Chidori was, but I'm glad it looks like Nishikata and Asagiri are becoming more of a couple. "Her man". lady is falling for the Chad-zuma.

I added a bit to the chapter so that I could give it a more dynamic ending. I hope you all enjoy the conundrum Adero is now in and has to deal with.
I understand completely. I already finished volume 1 and look forward to seeing what what else happens in Volume 2!
I like to think I have a healthy understanding of life and death. but what I can't tolerate is the active dismissal of life in the pursuit of death for one's self. I already hate this Cult because they misunderstand that by encouraging people to off themselves. congrats I love your writing.

I'm going to be honest, I'm not the greatest with stories concerning these kinds of heavy themes. But I want to keep reading so I can see how the romance(s?) develop. This has been a fascinating read thus far, and I didn't expect the twist at the end of this chapter.
