Between Reem working two jobs and that failed pseudo pickup line at the end, this is just too real.
This might either be the best character dynamic, or the most blatant author mix of wish fulfilment and inner demons I've read in a while. Maybe both.

The plot thickens. So it's gonna be a buddy -c-o-p- xyronin novel with a mystery around his missing sister?

Anyway, good source of conflict and hint to the darker side of Xyrite's impact on society.
