I feel like being in Aikami’s position would make me really jaded and untrusting of everything. Knowing that people don’t interact with you due to free will, but because they’re forced to by fate, would be enough to make me not wanna be with other people at all. The idea of ‘genuine’ somewhat ceases to be when free will is denied and choice is stripped away

I didn’t clock it when “gods of fate” was first mentioned, but if Lana is Lachesis I guess that means Chloe is Clotho and Alice is Atropos, right? In this case Alice being the one to get mad at Hades for almost killing someone before their time makes a lot of sense since she’s the one who determines time and cause of death.

Also I’m not sure if it’s intentional or not, but I like how the girl’s personalities in some way reflect their role in the thread of fate. Clotho spins their fate at birth, and Chloe seems to act the most naive and childlike among the three. Atropos cuts the thread at the end of life, and Alice seems the most mature and adult-like of the three (and the most murderous, tho I’m guessing that’s unquestionably intentional). Lana seems to be somewhere between the other two, which also makes sense

Philosophically speaking, I feel like having no thread is actually the better option in a sense. Fate means determinism, if you have a predetermined fate then nothing you do can every truly matter, it’s all supposed to happen. In that sense, Aikami is the only one with free will

I’m very much not a native speaker either so my opinion on this is kinda moot, but the fact that it was relatively obvious which kanji you were going for is good, at least.

蔵 when pronounced くら does mean storehouse, but the 蔵 pronunciation actually means possession or ownership, so I personally read it as “person who’s fate is owned by the god of love,” but I could see “fated to be loved by the gods” making sense as well
