Yeah, as soon as I messed up and brought in that level of conflict I had a feeling this wouldn’t work.

If I had thought about it more I’d have written the story so that Souma just appeared on Selina’s farm and fell in love with a chuuni demon lord who no longer has any reason to fight… 🐖 🐄

But instead I leaned about the content a tad too late and just started writing… and kind of painted myself into a corner 😂

But it’s down now and I’m still happy with the end result.

I love reading isekai and litrpg stuff! Do you have anything you wrote you recommend getting into asides the completion entry? I’ll read that too, but I have recently read so much fluffy romance it’s starting melt my brain 😂 I need stats going up and people killing spiders. Yeah, pretty much! Altoria is the Danmachi starting zone. Other cities rip off other anime 😂

Yeah, Souma and Selina are hitting a few different plot devices at once here 😹 It was originally going to be more slog before they got to Reiny, but the current pace was the only way I could outline the story to give myself enough time to finish before the end of the contest 😂 (well, not that it matters now given I DQed myself, but that’s the reason).

I would like to expand these particular chapters out quite a bit later on, though.

That was good. I could practically hear the creepy crying child in my head.

I like that Paltar and Nanna are more or less through the “whoa! A goose that talks!” Phase and right into solving issues. Great pacing!

Thanks again for writing, it was a really fun read! Replying to your previous comment, I think all the books could do with editing in this competition - that’s just normal when there is such a strict time limit 😂 but I still really enjoyed reading this one and I think overall it came
Together really nicely! I could really see this being a movie length feature or something, and of course it’s a nice stand alone book too 😊

It feels like you could easily write another book in this world (though I’d leave poor Jun and Claire alone) 😂
