I get what you suggesting. You think time freezes for Grace when Haru is awake. That's not really the case. Haru just enters his dream at some normal entry point, and Grace comes to him. I didn't really connect the dreams he had before in a sequence.

There's actually a chapter in Grace's POV (Interlude 1) that shows what exactly Grace sees when Haru is awake. And yes, the cover is that scene.

Some people have no lucid dreams while others do it all the time. It seems unpredictable. Certainly, there's something odd if you keep dreaming about the same person. Maybe your mind is tell you something, yes. Maybe Haru is a little nuts. 😂 It makes for some fun possibilities.
