I had no coherent narrative when I started. I imagined this whole story as an episodic slice-of-life, which is why the plot feels all over the place. Honestly, that's reflected in how I planned the plot too. I literally cherry picked random events from a Japanese academic calendar that I felt like writing about. And yeah, sticking to this episodic format pretty much shot me in the foot when it came to tracking Ryuka's character development
Tldr my writing is cringe
