It would be nice if the end phrase "And so the story continues" was in italics or bold font so It doesn't blend with the rest of the chapter

Really good beginning, your writing is smooth 👍

Minor nitpick: the line where mercella said "I really love mornings" is kinda unfitting since Alice knows her for a long time so mercella didn't need to say that. Maybe you can substitute it with Alice saying "You really like mornings don't you" Or something like that.

Other than that it was a beautiful chapter, keep up the good work!
