The novel has undergone refinements since Walker's feedback. I think I've addressed the weak points he suggested, while reinforcing the novel's strengths. Aside from continuous proofreading, I think this story is good to go.
Elias seems like a nice person. The cats are cute.
Yanno, I think Ren should think twice before rushing out to save a damsel in distress, unless he doesn't mind his body holes. 😅
Good opening chapter. Read easy down the page. He did a deed not many would do, although it cost his life. Let's just hope his isekai is a nice reward.

For some weird reason I keep thinking of squid games. I know it's not reminiscent of the storyline, but I guess with the themes of the silent choir stealing emotions, and paying for happiness, it makes me think of those dark fantasy type of stories. I really love how creative you're playing with themes here. Good stuff.
