44' some time after the Allied invasion. But his past is only hinted at, occasionally drip-fed through his memories, thoughts and emotions. I tried to convey the mindset of a wwii soldier without making him feel unlikeable while still showing the ambivalence of his thinking.

Ofc his mindset is going to change after a while, its part of his emotional arc :3

I think its quite comprehensible even tho its packed with atmospheric world-building details (which I've come to love and expect from you), I had no trouble following the plot at all. I actually found it easier to follow than Hypnopolis tbh :3
