Funny enough, the 20th April pick was pure coincidence, it was actually just the most logical date for my story since the Allies were already advancing on Rangoon (Battle of Elephant Point) while the Japanese hadn’t fully withdrawn yet.

I really like how this story doesn’t go the “magical cure” route that so many suicide isekai take.

The MC isn’t suddenly healed of his suicidal thoughts just because he’s in another world, instead, he’s still struggling and even tries again right away.

The narrative style also stands out a lot compared to most stories here on HF.

Makes it feel original and definitely refreshing to read.
