Okay, story time :D
Back when I served, there wasn't a single woman in my unit, and women were still pretty rare in general (you'd mostly see them as medics, in admin etc...)
So when we were told that a few women were going to join our unit one day everyone completely lost it. Since there was only one shower room they put up a sign on the door to show whose turn it was to use it..
And ofc everyone made the exact same jokes... "Haha, I'm just gonna walk in anyway!" or "Gender equality, right?"
But the moment the girls arrived all those loudmouths suddenly went completely quiet, and in the mess hall everyone just stared at them and tried to make the best possible impression xD
So I basically just took those rl experiences and flipped them around here :D
