Sorry about the confusion, it is Earth, just after the apocalypse. It never even crossed my mind to make it more apparent the two were on Earth, though I do name drop Earth on at least one chapter later on. (could end up being more but not at the moment)

I like how you made the "hero" character someone other than the protagonist and actually involved the teacher. Making the system sort of it's own character is also great.
