That first dream sequence was beautiful. It was so minimal, but spoke so loudly to the internal struggle of Rina. That uncertainty, only to be met with the thoughts of companionship. Truly amazing. She does deserve to be happy, but sometimes standing to face it and accepting that fact can be harder than facing a big bad. It ties so nicely back to the first chapter, that reminder that this is not a happy place--but she can make it happy.

I can feel the utter sense of hopelessness in the characters and that desperation to cling to anything that will keep them and their people going. This emotional feeling alone drives me to keep reading and wishing for the sun to rise again.

Thank you so much for the comment! I do aim to keep up with some typical isekai tropes, but ultimately, my goal for this story is to explore a broken fantasy reality and the healing it can provide. The female leads, the 'Misfits of Al'Magi,' are not your typical isekai "harem girls" and will more often than not challenge the MC instead of pine over him.

I do hope you continue to enjoy the story as it progresses!
