I really love the sense of community that you build into this society of Ta’al. It’s a beautiful thing that they care so much that they wait to eat for others, but from the shop of those who offer help, deliver gifts. It’s amazing and heartwarming. You can see Fury really gaining a sense of community and mindfulness thanks to them.
And it was such a powerful moment to see her cut the badge away. It was sentimental, yea, but there was no care taken to remove it gently. She cut it away, like removing necrotizing flesh, pulling away the final bit of hate that remained on her and leaving the ribbon. It truly feels that her transformation is complete.
