I understand where Shiomi and Haruto are coming from. Shiomi has lied for a pretty long time to protect him out of selfish interest for not being there for him, however, it was also out of concern of him having a breakdown in order to be as if those terrible things never happened. However, for Haruto, it was like living in a lie, and remembering all that in that way must've been a huge shock.
I'm also quite content the way the advisors for each of them were Ryuuji and Futaba respectively. I mean, one would expect for Ryouta to be the one but he was in the middle of a conflict he had no idea what to do, and given his nature is clear he would have no idea which side to go to first since he barely knows them and feels responsible for this truth to have come out.
Ryouta has always been alone, so him thinking his appearance in their life messed things up is really sad and understandable. As well as Futaba, who confesses that perhaps if she hadn't pushed herself to be Ryouta's friend maybe all these chains of events wouldn't even be happening.
Just like Haruto said, when something bad happens and hurts you, you want to search for someone to pinpoint the blame into so all your anger goes towards them instead of being all over the place. Yet, the way of him doubting if it's him or Shiomi shows how much he truly cares about their friendship.
Looking forward to Ryouta's decision since he felt responsible for this...
