I'm not gonna lie, I'm gonna be harsh, as I always am in terms of not beating around the bush, but especially so in this one, because I feel like the best part was when the chapter ended, finally. This ruined so much.
So we zoned out a second time? wow.
The do you have a sister question feels like came out of fucking nowhere.
When I read mint-aqua I saw it as blue, because aqua, not once did I consider mint. But it still feels out of nowhere because she'd still be very different than the headmistress, like for one the kind eye I'd say would be her real eye not the gold one. At least based on the story and everything.
"Felice's eyes" How do we suddenly know whoever's name? that's got to be a mistake right? especially since in the memory we called her something else, I forgot what though.
That absolutely was not the tell, the tell was everything being different from the headmistress, but to consider "yeah has to be her sister specifically", is still crazy and still out of nowhere.
We really going forward with this sister idea huh? I guess it must be, but it still feels forced and out of nowhere. I also don't see how this plays into the whole demoness thing that was what the previous 2 chapters were about.
Is the official name of the thing "massacre"? because if so why bother putting down 0 casualties because they already give it away in the name. still very not making sense that a kingdom would have a prime minister. I wonder if i'd call it a massacre though? Because it's not like there were bodies everywhere and stuff, they were all just gone, I'd call it a vanishing instead.
What? What kind of weird ass plan is this? I wonder if the headmistress is what the last chapter was hinting at of whoever teaching here. But still what? It really feels like I've switched stories/genres a couple times now. I guess THIS is the main mystery? maybe? Why would it be introduced more than halfway through the story though? Maybe it isn't, I honestly still don't know.
Even if we're going with the weird sister thing, I would not call her a twin, but I guess we'll also be going with she changed somehow.
I'd say technically a headmistress especially one that teaches like this one, is absolutely a mentor.
That really was it, man that still feels so stupid, like out of nowhere, her sister, and that for some reason she was just waiting (and i guess ren too?) for clara to realize?
it's all so weird, makes no sense. Trying to think back I guess you did mention eye color pre flashback, but the flashbacks had been all around the whole demoness thing which would have been much much older. I don't even know anymore.
And now she's suddenly immortal and over a thousand fucking years old, you have got to be fucking trolling. This too in fact also felt like it came out of nowhere. What the hell? So her sister really is supposed to be the demoness priestess, that feels so incorrect. But I guess immortality is a thing now, wonder who else is immortal. There's still that whole homunculus thing, maybe thats another immortal.
Absolutely love can be put down and loyalty CAN be switched off, it usually happens when your sister becomes a CRAZY MURDEROUS PSYCHOPATH, but I guess the immortal headmistress is goofy now. Sure. On top of she acting as if she's her mom (which I'd say loyalty and love from that would be harder than just sister version but that's not what she is) with the way she says things as if she wasn't also just a little girl at the same time of her sister being one.
Be so for real, so she's basically saying she knew she was about to kill everybody but just didn't care. I'm just getting tired honestly, I guess finally we're getting... Answers? But it was to questions that weren't even there. Answers NOT to the mysteries and questions we had, but to ones we never had or that had been introduced like extremely recently, though it's mostly to questions we didn't have.
I guess she's protecting her now? well if she didn't care before, she wouldn't now, that makes sense.
Oh nevermind, that sister IS a teacher here somewhere and not the headmistress. what in the actual fuck is going on? None of this was how I thought this story was going, none of this makes any sense as to how it connects to how this started, and all of this feels like the story switched halfway through, like you switched goals and ideas and decided to switch the 2nd half without changing the first/start, that's honestly how it feels to me.
Though on the side, I guess that demoness is who messed with myra's memories for whatever reason.
Immediately I'm just gonna say cope, seems like the demoness is coping, probably with the fact that she's a murderous psychopath and shifting the blame to "actually we all always were, trust." And also, ah yes the mass murderer says that we were all mass murderers already actually, That's believable, sure. As if anyone's buying that.
"prove her point" she hasn't proven any point. Is the headmistress the one coping now? I think this section has ruined the whole story, not just this chapter but what lead to this too, so the previous ones too. Because what do you mean "She killed peoples family and friends and then they got big mad, see she was right" no fucking shit sherlock. Next you'll tell me if you water grass it gets WET and it proves the point that they're not grass somehow.
She hasn't proven any point, she just went crazy and felt like killing, and nobody has been able to stop her, it's that easy. Why must they always be stupid.
So she went double crazy because usually she kills kids but this time she didn't and now has kept trying but failing? There's nothing to understand, she's just stupid and fucking crazy. Btw in all this, very clearly the headmistress is in fact LETTING her stay, but not that surprising that she'd lie.
????? "The 6 year old didn't go crazy and try to kill me, it's almost like she was 6 or something" brilliant move sherlock, brilliant. " she can't remember shit and hasn't gone crazy, it's like she can't remember shit" Magnificent counter example indeed. Except it's not a counter example, because she's never HAD examples.
She had 0 proof before, she's still gonna have 0 proof after, she's just crazy. What was the point of messing with the fox memories? She ain't gonna do shit. I guess, given the way this is written though, that the magic going crazy wasn't something she did, that makes that still confusing, but thats ok.
"you keep surviving" that makes it seem like her "proof" is just people dying, that's not even the fake proof I figured she'd be making, wow.
"whatever remains of my immortal life" I'm gonna throw a wild guess and say infinity or something along those lines. Just a hunch I have based on, you know, IMMORTALITY, which still feels like, well, that you wanted the demoness around but "damn it we need her sister to be here somehow, oh i know, make her immortal", it feels random to me is what I'm saying.
"I let her kill everybody else, but YOU, nah I'll make sure you live for some random ass reason, just you though" what?
She's def still protecting her, yeah we know that.
I'm not gonna lie, I keep wanting for this chapter to end, but somehow there's always still more. This one might one of the harsher bits in my comments, but it goes to show that at least for me, this is ruining a ton.
Is myra saying the mass murderer looked sad while making her go crazy? Why would I ever give a flying fuck?
She can definitely stop her, she's being a bitch, simple really.
That's not a LAW actually, that's a choice, she's CHOOSING to be fucking mentally challenged. I'm honestly surprised at how much this chapter is ruining.
"if she's wrong about you not going crazy" I'd say she's just wrong in general on what she does, just further proving my point of her having brain damage (both of them that is), she went crazy and only recently has realized that clearly. Afraid of being wrong about her not going crazy? Stupid.
"she's not afraid" no shit, the murderer isn't afraid of the law? crazy talk, next you'll tell me farmers aren't afraid of plants.
There's no eventually proving wrong, because she never proved anything wrong. I cannot stress this enough. If you kill a guys whole family, friends, and everyone he cares about in front of his face, him going crazy doesn't prove a fucking thing. How actually demented are these people? holy shit.
Suffice it to say, this chapter pretty much ruined everything. The entire story. I mean, IT IS a whole different story at this point, it definitely switched halfway through, and as such the previous chapters also kinda ruined things too thanks to leading to this. I got very close to just giving up entirely because of how bad this chapter was. But I think I have to see this through. I can only hope now that this chapter ruined SO MUCH that hopefully future ones in comparison won't be as bad. They'll probably still annoy me though.
Sorry about the harshness but that's how I go, direct with what I think. Sorry again.
