Two amnesiacs? Last I remember Galardos wasn't done with the legionaire when the demon appeared so if anything I'd assume him to keep some memory of Milla and not be amnesiac, or I guess he's being labeled that because he has some memories but not all about her? I guess that makes sense.
The first time we get any description of how Milla looks is in the last chapter? That's crazy.
So I was right and everyone did forget Jund too, rip.
Switching from demigodess to dragonkin? Felt very random but ok i guess.
How would her name have stopped his heart? Even if he was petrified with fear, I don't see that happening, so that feels very weird.
What's the point of making a thrall of a random civilian? I already felt like she didn't seem to meet the stories, with her way of speaking and everything which seemed friendly but was fine, but this? This straight up feels like a "Oops I forgot I need people to not like her" and forced that in, that's what it feels. Utterly random and forced. Idk about that at all. I wonder if she's to become psychotically sadistic for no reason at all in the future.
I'll give that this second heart attack makes more sense than just hearing isabella's name.
"sucessfully roped" ? The fuck is she talking about, he would have gone search for her regardless, all he needed was to know of her existance, this had nothing to do with loyalty to her. Feels like its just forcing us to remember "She's evil or something, don't forget what she said before", super iffy.
Good enough to be knighted? I thought about this back with Olivia at first, but you can't just knight anyone. It's not like you've been knighted and you're super ultra powerful now, you have to meet the requirements first, for Olivia's order I'm sure she's just faster on that procedure and that's why it was so fast, but this? good resolve? That's it?
He receives the training after? So anybody can be knighted after all. Disciplined into a deadly loyal bloodhound is just incorrect though, the moment he gets to milla his job is done. But I guess we're really trying to force the whole "potentially third villain besides the whatever organization maybe and traitorous angels" regardless if she's on zarielle's side.
Well... That was... Slightly dissappointing. Specifically as in part 1 of the epilogue was good, it was solid, I liked it. THIS though? The way it ended at least, eh. and again it really does feel forced to me the whole regardless of anything isabella's group is an enemy.
The first half of this was interesting, finally seeing what turned out of this village, but the second half fell apart for me.
I did wonder where this was going, given the word limit and this didn't seem anywhere near done, so it was a volume 1 deal, nice.
With that I will say that in these later chapters galardos did feel more like the main protagonist, but every other time it was Milla that felt like the main protagonist. Then the cover, I do have to once again comment on it, the way it's framed it's like the main thing is angie, that's the main deal, angie and galardos and their relationship with Milla way in the back almost covered as if only a supporting/background character, but that really isn't the case, angie only appearing towards the end and even then she doesn't stay in the no wings form for long. Obviously a future volume 2 may fix that may having it focus more on angie, but unless Milla really does become a background character (which wouldn't make sense for many reasons) then it really is eh. As well as you'd need more stuff between angie and galardos given how they are in the cover. It might seem to silly to comment so much on the cover, but the way it is tells me a wildly different set of things from what actually happens, and I think that counts for something.
Well, in any case, it was a nice journey. You finally get to stop dealing with my annoying comments. Well I say that as a jest but hopefully they weren't annoying. It was a nice story, has it's ups and downs, with it fumbling the landing slightly (for me at least with this second half of chapter), but it was fun. I liked it.
