Ugh...that's 20 people. lol 🤣

Any case, the 'extra chapters' in my story serve as 'appetizers' for the next arc, just like in Arc 1 and 2. Not that important, since some parts were also shown with more detail on the next arc and volume, but can be read for additional context, nonetheless.

As for Kuro's deification, hmm...what you said is an interesting POV, to be honest. I haven't thought of it that way. But yes, I'll take this into mind as I write V19 this April.

Well, here's the thing about the candles. Those represent the people who can still remember those who died. Once these people die as well, there's the chance of the prior dead to be forgotten, hence their existence will be 'erased', and their candle lost (hence the empty candleholders).

However, for the Lady Monfort, someone is still remembering her--Kuro, but her life (represented by the flame) was snuffed out, so the unlit candle.

As for Kuro's eye, it didn't exactly lost its 'sight', though it degraded significantly, as he explained in Vol. 17.

Yep, there are other creatures in the Void, which in reality was a clue for my readers and my brother's readers to know that our worlds are somehow connected.

Unfortunately, he got stuck in a procrastinator's loop. Sir Loin of Steak (from Arc 2) is actually his MC.

Also, yes, I plan to elaborate more on the 'creatures' of the Void, though the Saint Series will only feature the Seductress. And I also plan to elaborate more on the Void in the prequel of the work.

Ah, please do take note that Kuro wields powerful influence over the Beastmen people (known for their superhuman strength), demons (known for their acumen in magic and the arcane), as well as supported by the majority of the humans (especially the Emperor, the Amaranthine Queen, King of Nerfes and the Human Saint herself).

And the safety issues isn't really an issue here, since the beastmen strength is complemented by demon magic and human economic expertise. Not to mention, Kuro also wields the Human Saint's power of healing.

The travel from Kuro's fief to the Cherwind-Chersea takes several 'days/long sleeps' for a human, while beastmen and elves have shorter travel times due to different physiques. Demons primarily use magic to travel long distances.

From the border crossing of Chersea-Cherwind, there was a network of rail lines that connect it to the capital of the Beastman Kingdom in Malvette, considering that the beastmen race and humans of Cherwind used rail technology extensively throughout their domains.

And then, there's Ruro, who's pretty much easy to get along with. Thus, her god-powers of teleportation can always be relied upon.

Kuro's fief is located at the area around tip of the lands with the orange coloration to the southwest of the map (to the west side of the Empire of Chersea).

It was also the embarkation point of the legionnaires when they started the invasion of Amaranth (Volume 4), since the area was pretty 'well-hidden' (considering the forests and the rivers dissecting the lands.

Uh, about the travel between Kuro's land and Chersea/Cherwind, Maddie, Ruro and Natasha often use their god-powers to teleport, which Kuro and his group of friends also benefits from. I think I put those somewhere in the latter chapters? Also, they already have the steam train technology, making the non-teleport travels even faster.

By the way, if you haven't seen the map yet, Kuro's fief lie inside the Empire of Chersea, in which the crossing to Cherwind is located. You can check out this story's page in Syosetu to see the map. ^_^

As for the talking trees, Elves have different senses than other mortals (like humans, beastmen, demons and dwarves). In this matter, Elves can 'talk' to their 'trees' thru their feelings, and nope, the ability is lost once the saplings (and even the elves) are taken away from Cherwoods (and stayed for too long, as in the case of the latter, the younger 'Chersean' elvish generation lost their ability to 'talk' to trees).
