If I was a Viking then, I would've believed easily that Valhalla exists and I would wage war with the thought of falling in battle where a Valkyrie would pick me up and reap my soul with her lovely thighs. Kidding aside, this was such an explosive opening chapter. Who am I kidding, I always am kidding. A lot of questions that I would trade Krishna for. Based on the first chapter of Fear the Night and this, I could see that you've improved considerably. I feel myself balls deep into Ryota's POV; for a moment, it seems his feelings were like my own.

An interesting opener. Now I see why you thought mine was wordy even though I thought it wasn't, haha! Not a bad thing really, I'm seeing how you were able to describe your characters and their surroundings very well despite your writing leaning into the thinner side of things.

Also an interesting opener. I would like to see more of how Atsunori fits in Kurozaka.
