Thanks for reading Steward! I don’t think that it’s necessary to read Kai at all, the only character that crosses over is Kai herself. This story is fairly self contained.

Not sure about that but I’d be very surprised if they would be allowed to leave before 18 without parental permission.

In either case the crime here would be loitering which (anecdotally) you can be called for up till like 20.

Thanks for reading Kaabi-dono, I’m glad you liked it. It was fairly hard to write at parts.

Kaisplanations are a leftover from when this was going to be a much longer series where that stuff would’ve been a lot more relevant but it felt weird to remove it, especially for anyone who has read Kai before but I get the desire for mystery if you haven’t read that.
