I really have to appreciate your time in reading and writing/theorizing your thoughts.
"The bad guy is the good guy, the good guy is actually the bad guy" This is a mood for the whole story where the dynamics of our mains practically changed.
We had Noah the seemingly sweet, outgoing person that also saved Lewis as stated in Chapter 2, whose faith was becoming a monster.
We got Netty being the loud, rebellious, happy personality whose *last* moments were spent in the cave like an obedient good-for-nothing, almost self-critical, and in tears.
Runo being the hypocritical self-reserved and cold individual, but also sometimes acts nice and nearly risked his life for Netty and was like a protective brother to Dolly even though he's a monster.
Then there's Dolly. Started as a vague, clueless, shy and awkward android, and now it's being hinted she might not be as innocent as she looks with her memories back.
If Volume 2 becomes a thing, it will likely be written via Runo's perspective. It's a good third person limited choice IMO and it will explore the black market and secrets of this rather immoral world.
