Owww I'm glad you liked it! I'm trying to leave those longer descriptions for scenic and slow chapters, while in other parts like the last part of this chapter I give more importance to dialogue. Don't know if I'm doing well, but at least you noticed it 😊

About the drawing, I would of course absolutely love it, but as I said before, do not push yourself too much. With your pink umbrella painting you already made me the happiest ever (I really never expected to receive such a kind gift here) ❤️. Also painting twenty people is not an easy task, I could not even draw them on pencil 😅

I actually don't know if there is some university in Takachiho, so it's either there or in Nobeoka, which is the big city around. But in their favour, Takashi will probably not need it to still have her around 👀

Regarding the first question, I personally think you should stick to only one, so third person would be fine. You could add "Hope she takes this as a direct invitation," Jonathan thought. If you want to make it so he has more narrative importance.
Regarding the second one, that is up to each writer depending on the situation. I love long sentences with commas, but many writers here prefer short, more concise ones. That's just you finding your writing style (I'm no veteran author or anything, and I don't think I have a style yet, but I'm trying to). So, it's up to you!

Poor Jonathan got relegated by his own family, sad. After what their parents had been through to put him safe, that is simply mean.

Nice chapter! Your writing is very good, but I'd suggest you to use some more commas as in some points you can get dizzy with too long sentences. For example: "He hated it when she mocked him, but Jonathan knew he didn't have a choice, so he silently went over to cut her sausage".
Also, I noticed that when Aoi is deciding to sit between Jonathan and Jared, you changed the next paragraph to first-person narration. Unless that's intended for narrative style, you should check that out.
Apart from that, you are doing really great! Keep it up Kay! ❤️
