The Dream of Perfect Youth

"I've found my ideal."
With such thoughts in mind, Maegahara Shosei watches a certain group of his classmates. Just looking from the side is enough for him to tell — they represent the perfect youth in his mind. The kind of youth filled with precious friendships, irreplaceable memories, and bittersweet satisfaction of youth. With his mind made up, Shosei is determined to become a part of their group. The problem is — he's a loner who struggles to communicate with others! Adding salt to the wound, Furukawa Itsuki notices his plight and declares:

"You will struggle, fail and betray yourself in the process..."

Riled up Shosei promises that he will prove him wrong... And so — the bet is on! Shosei has three months to make friends with the group and successfully invite them to his birthday.
Will he be able to succeed? Or will Itsuki emerge victorious? Regardless, the battle between the two has already begun: The weapons are words. The battlefield—school. And the price—friendship...
