I just don't take the side of men that think the girl will be waiting for them forever while they take their sweet time making up their minds. With a girl as sweet as Kimiko that does her best like that, it's almost outright offensive
What you are trying to do reminds me a little of the British rom-com series Cold Feet. (Which is awesome btw)
