Okay, that is very interesting … 🤔
But if we are honest, we don’t receive much concrete information about Claire as well. I mean yes, she might have explained what some types of souls are meant to become, and that she somehow might be a fainted star with tendencies to becoming a world breaker (or at least she implies that!!). But we still don’t know how she obtained her immeasurable power. We still don’t know if she actually means herself as the fainted star becoming a world breaker (she did not explicitly state that fainted stars don’t have a star at all - maybe one not shining as brightly?)
It might as well be possible that Jun is the fainted star and Toren was meant to become the world champion. Only through meddling with him so early on, Jun disrupted the order and became a world breaker himself. I remember how Claire asked Jun if he had given Toren money and how she facepalmed herself, when he said he did. Maybe without money Toren would have set out to become stronger (after all he is quite strong already) and turn into the world champion to defeat the demon lord. His goal was to show up at Mia’s house on a stallion and with servants. Through becoming the hero who defeated the demon lot he definitely would have had such an epic return. Maybe through giving Toren money Jun disrupted the order and had become the world breaker himself now. Maybe Claire is not included inside all these descriptions, but an entity outside of all the ones she mentioned.
So while she told us a lot about stars and world people, she only implied who which one might be. She said many things without saying a lot …
She did not explain why she had no star herself and it might as well be possible, that they are assigned much differently than we were meant to think right now 🤔

But maybe I’m tripping over my own overthinking here 😂
Guess we’ll have to wait to find out more about this 😅

I also think that kissing a girl after she confessed is probably a state where no further intervention is necessary 😂 So it's probably right of Mai to not "help" them even though they don't need help.
And Mai hugging Ryota was really cute as well. But I still fear that this hint was still not obvious enough for him to understand what she was trying to say 😂🙈
Maybe whatever she has cooked up with fate and the red spotlight might make him realize ... 😅
I'm hoping for the best! 😊👍

Oh really? How cool is that! I’m really astonished by how many people have something to do with the field of IT here.
In my last novel (which actually revolves around an eccentric school for hacking) there were I think 4-5 people who said that they had something (partly indirectly like you) to do with IT. And I always thought that computer scientists would never socialize but live in a dark basement and only live from pizza, coffee and energy drinks 😂

Yes! That’s totally fine! I really know the struggle with time management and wanting to do everything (Would be great if my day could have 48 hours) 😂 Plus there are several others just as important as me and they also want your opinion 😊 So no worries I won’t feel neglected! 👍

Yeah, might be a cultural thing to some degree 😅 I believe in the US movie rating for example is much harsher compared to the German rating (FSK) when it comes to language and nudity but way more relaxed in regards to firearms or weapons in general. So yeah, cultural differences definitely play into account here! Making something that works globally is hard to impossible, I guess … 😅 And it’s of course completely legitimate and even a good decision to decide not to include swear words!

Ah I see! Yes, it’s probably just a list with words that only are related to love an romance. But I see you were already quite exposed to my language 😂
I don’t know if you know that, but there is something called ”the dictionary of obscure sorrows“, where someone creates new words for complex feelings that can not be explained as easily (the book version has a really beautiful cover. I had to buy it! 😱😍). Your idea of a multi-lingual novel reminded me of that since the author creates new words from words of different languages. Really cool read!
But I don’t know if suddenly using foreign words in a text would only verschlimbesser (😜) the reading experience. But in general a really interesting thought (you’d probably need a big, big glossary 😂).
And I haven’t been too good in other foreign languages as well … only with English, since I actually used it in programming and for watching international videos, websites and so on. So it’s probably more about if you actually need and want to learn a language … or if it is just another checkbox on a long list 😅

I think it’s a good idea to keep the cast a little smaller for a project like this. The more characters, the more room each of them has to become and it gets quite hard to balance character development and plot. So I appreciate the decision! 😊

I‘m really glad you like the images and descriptions so much! 😊
I have to admit that I was a little hesitant to use/create the major image as the cover, since it had to be praised as much in the story (and deliver on that praise at least to some degree). So I’m happy to hear the work paid off and it does the descriptions justice 😊
Also I’m happy you like Ashiya despite being what most people would consider rude. Not the tsundere type of rude, but in an upfront and blunt way, I guess. And yes, Iyogi is quite the Plus point 🤔😂

I don’t think it’s selfish to relate to anything. After all I think that all creative/artistic people feel this disconnect to some degree. Otherwise we probably wouldn’t create art that shows reality in our own way that is somehow a refuge from reality itself 😉

And I’m glad you like Ashiya already. She is no one who makes it easy to be around them (like Kukai for example). I’m glad you appreciate her for exactly that!
And yes, after all it’s not like Takurō chose to be attracted by her, but now that he noticed how he acted around her, he feels guilty for putting her on a pedestal.

And yes, we’ll see how someone like Ashiya is going to react on a much different kind of movie 😂

Foreshadowing for what? 😶‍🌫️

I have to admit that I didn't care to add an accent as well, but minatika and Koymi suggested it in I think the second chapter, so tested a bit. I also found out that Kansai is usually translated as a kind of redneck accent, but I didn't like the vibe of that, since I don't think people in a city as big as Osaka would be considered as, well ... rednecks. So instead I opted to try creating an entirely new accent that aims to replicate the features as close I could get. In general Kansai is much more laid-back and easygoing compared to standard Japanese, so a much more casual way of talking was rather easy. With the grammatical structure, I turned some sentences into ellipses, where it made sence. Then, there also were the sentence ending words. I added similar words that somehow come close to the original meaning in Japanese and scattered them through a few sentences (this is also, where I had to take liberties, since using it too often would have make it sound too weird). And last but not least I used certain utterances. Like "Maido" turned into a casual "Hey" for a greeting and so on.
I'm actually happy how it turned out (that's why I will keep on rolling with it), but I'm also open for suggestions if you have some to bring it even closer to what speaking Kansai feels like. This is just my take on the accent after all 😊
