The moment he said he has a girl, I just knew this was Mia. So Toren is deemed to become a love rival! ... Or is he really? 😏
Okay, lay back and prepare your comment section to be spammed (sorry 😶🌫️) ... now I'm certain enough to suggest my theory on what might be happening from here on. So Spoiler ... maybe ... hopefully? 😅😂 (Actually it's more an approach on connecting the loose ends and a lot of things is nothing but educated guessing 😂)
However:
Jun and Mia do have a very bad matching score on the love-o-meter. In other words, it is questionable if there is even a possibility that it will work out between them this time. Yes, with Madame Claire's advice, he heads toward becoming the best possible version of himself, but even if he would be ... that probably wouldn't change who Jun is and who Mia is.
You only partly confirmed that you are not yet sure about who Jun might end up with ... but I still stay true to my initial idea: My theory is that Jun will not end up with Mia. He will find out that he just talked himself into believing that she is the love of his life. But reality often looks different. Rose colored glasses show you the world as it could be one day, when all the hurdles are overcome, but that there will always be new ones is something one seems to forget.
I think that Toren is the one who is supposed to be at Mia's side (He probably has a higher score on the love-o-meter as well). I think he is really nice and kind. He fights for this goal and maybe Mia even requites his feelings, once he confessed to her. Jun on the other hand probably will have difficulties accepting this. Maybe they will somehow court about Mia, but maybe Jun recognizes (subconsciously?), that Mia will be happier with Toren at her side. And yes, it is one of the most painful feelings to admit that someone else makes the girl you love happier than you, but it also shows if your love was sincere in the first place. No matter how much it hurts, if she is happier this way, you'll suffer through getting over her, no matter what.
But I think that upon realizing this Jun also notices, that there has been someone else for him as well all the time: Claire. We don't know for sure, what their connection is by now, but it was already hinted at that Claire acted like she knew Jun ... maybe from a different world or a different life?
But when he tries talking to her, she is not there anymore. Claire has been caught by the order of the multiverse (or whoever else protects the integrity of all the worlds) because though helping Jun, she disturbed the integrity of fate too much and will get punished for that.
But there is something Jun did not knew up until then (And now we're coming to the much more speculative/creative part 😅):
Before his life in our world, Jun lived his life in Farelle. During this time he also was in love with someone, but screwed up. With the help of a mysterious stranger he tried winning his crush over again. He learned to become a better person, grew and became more mature, only to notice in the end that he and his crush did not really fit together. Instead, he noticed to have developed feelings for the helping stranger, who listened on the name Claire.
He and Claire fell in love and became a couple, but since Claire was a powerful sorceress, she always had enemies. In one of their attacks, Jun tragically died, getting reverse-isekai'd into his parallel self in our world, losing all his memories of Farelle in the process.
Missing him too much, Claire set out to make a plan. She prepared and thought out how she could receive her Jun back, until she one day was able to lure the reincarnated Jun from our world into her Etablissement. She brought him back to Farelle, but since he was still the stupid idiot we knew since the beginning of the story, he had to make the experiences with falling out of love again, in order to change for the better.
In an approach to reproduce the same steps as before, she helped him finding his way to Mia and tried supporting him as best as she could. But when Jun finally came to the point of realizing that all the time Claire was the one for him ... she was caught up by her past.
What Jun didn't know was, that Claire has always been a goddess. This explains why she is such a madly strong sorceress, even able to travel between worlds - which is not normal even for sorcerers from Farelle. Plus, she would have a Claire in our world ... like with Jun himself, the possibility of a mirror version of them is never mentioned. On their first encounter back, when Jun still lived in Farelle, she was only there to visit on occasion, but upon falling in love, she stood up against the order of the multiverse to be with him. She vanished and abandoned her tasks, resulting in the order to search for her and punish her - it were them who also killed Jun, trying to capture her. That is what she referred to with having bought enough time.
She knew that they would eventually find her, but before that she wanted to give Jun the same experience of his prior life. She wanted him to be happy, even if that was without her.
When Claire finally gets captured, she feels like she has reached her goal. So she gives in and gets taken by the order of the multiverse without any resistance, to receive her trial and possible punishment. But Jun does not want them to take her. He tries running after and fighting for her. He manages to get to her, but now they both are punished: They get reincarnated, both as normal humans in our world, both losing their memories.
Only years later, upon meeting each other after another breakup, they get to know each other once again and start from zero.
Okay, I admit ... that took a few gravitational spheres bigger than expected 😂
Will the story unfold in this way? Most certainly not ... Are there maybe some elements that might be true to some degree or another? Probably ... at least I hope so 😅
I think that some things don't fully align, as well. I mean the "order of the multiverse" and everything attached to them seems a bit ... too big (like someone even above the gods?). Maybe there are other forces at play, that are more human ... I don't know. We haven't heard much about the people who are chasing (?) Claire ... Maybe some other god/powerful sorcerer?
At least that was my try at connecting all the loose threads I currently have at hand and I think that some ideas might be a bit cheesy, but well ... its a wholesome romance, so that's part of the formula to some degree and a little cheesyness never hurts, I guess 😂
