There's a lot to love here; first off the dynamic between Sereya and Evam is amazing. This is highlighted in the slightly quippy dialogue, it creates great chemistry and really pushes forward the affection they share for each other.
The dichotomy between the two states of mind is shown very interestingly here; they are amongst tragedy but are enjoying themselves to get through it. It's a weird rope and our protagonist even has trouble with it himself - the image this creates is very unique and it made this scene really interesting.
The last thing I want to focus on are some of the powerful sentiments touched on here; I don't know if they just resonated with me, but I think they're great. My favourite one being "a belly laugh would be good enough." This was beautiful; mixed with the funny, yet devastating scene before them, this made for a really powerful line.
