I think you mean Hanako instead of Sanae lol
But nah, if he was saving his love interest in place of his sister then he'd take forever to meet her; definitely not in this volume too
Now he'll meet Sanae in a few chapters and that'll become his actual love interest
Hanako is just sort of the childhood friend character
I think the romance between Sanae and Daichi will be more of a slow burn anyway, but it'll be a fairly evenly split between adventure and romance elements in the story
