Hanako is a big driving force for a lot of Daichi's decision making in the future, so even if she's not always around, her influence definitely will be

Bruv I loved this colorful introduction The part with the xylophone was my fave, it painted a super vivid picture in my head.
Also side note, I just kept imagining how your isekai urges couldn't quite be suppressed and still gotta have someone falling to another world haha

Well, Nishikata would probably leave too, but he's there as a favor more than for pleasure. Also Mai did sort of try apologizing for her past actions when they graduated, but Nishikata was still mad at her back then.
So it was basically 50/50 whether he would leave or stay, but he just leaned into seeing if Mai could turn a new leaf
