Imagine how Kikuchi felt about it 😅 But yeah, it's unfortunate Noriko's words had such a spellbinding effect on certain people. With how much Japan's culture is centered around working yourself silly and achieving success though, it's somewhat understandable a few weak-willed individuals would look towards other forms of comfort or escape.

She's a complicated girl that's for sure 😅 But yeah we'll def get more flashbacks later on. I really enjoy writing about their pasts for some reason, I think it's because Nishikata and Noriko were quite different characters back then For now though we gotta hurry and start the Nemoto arc soon 😎

Oh, sorry to make you worry 😭 Usually I try to release a chapter every 14 days from the last chapter, but got a bit occupied editing some previous chapters. Contest didn't give me much time to edit before, so been going back and polishing stuff. So far I've touched up chapters 1-6 and 25; hopefully they read better now or are just more fun since I extended some scenes. New chapter should be out on the 14th or 15th though

The issue is that Noriko said there's multitudes of stalkers, likely working for Cardinal who most police would refuse to take direct action against. Also, Noriko is just being a little selfish and doesn't want a magnifying glass shined on her life for reasons that'll be explained later. But she's correct in assuming that the stalkers probably won't do anything besides just stalk, as long as she keeps her head low.

We do love us some themes here But yeah, that's a pretty good catch! Poor Nishi barely has any friends as it is, be a shame if he pushes away the few he does have. The GiG system was sort of pushed out in a rush without much consideration for social repercussions on applicants But it's for their own benefit at the end of the day lol

Well, stuff is usually cheaper on Amazon, so lots of small businesses have gone out of business thanks to them. Usually it's better to shop online but I like shopping in person when I can Kazuma is probably worried about being judged by his peers for having a government-issued girlfriend so he's trying to keep it to himself for now haha But I'm sure more people will find out about Asagiri as the story goes on
