Ooo, Lucio finally makes his grand appearance. He's seeming to be the strongest of the ex-boyfriends probably. Pretty cool of Perci to volunteer to take on two dudes at once, they really underestimated him! Grandpa would be proud

Bruh why does Kenji like choking people so much I kept imagining Homer Simpson choking Bart out of existence haha Well Kenji got what was coming to him at least. The fight was pretty good too. It's cool to imagine two fighters with different fighting styles going at it. Reminds me of when I was researching muay thai for my isekai.

Oh, don't worry! I super appreciate you keeping up with the story from beginning to end! I wanted to write something that'd help me stand out a bit in the genre, but also something that rings true to a standard anime romcom. Looking back I think there's stuff I could have done better but that's par the course for writing. A few people seem to have genuinely enjoyed the story and that's pretty much all I can ask for. I've grown kinda attached to these characters so I'd really like to finish their story someday regardless of how I do in the contest. This first volume was meant to be a more lighthearted introduction to a story that gradually gets darker as it goes, while also being a self-contained story that could end here as well. There are some other projects I'd like to start soon too, so I know it's gonna be a busy future for me haha Thanks again for reading all the way here! Glad you enjoyed reading it!

Yeah it was on purpose, but dead man's switch is kind of a general term for something activating or deactivating on someone's death I used to work in CNC so we had similar stuff too But in the case of this story, the dead man's switch is meant to be a deterrent to allow Cardinal to maintain his cult unabated, or he'll command his followers to commit suicide even after any potential assassinations on him. That's why the GiG program came to be since it's not something Cardinal should consider a direct affront to him. There's not much more the government can do without risking triggering the Dead man's switch, but things will develop a lot more should I decide to continue the story.
Yeah, luckily I already had the ending thought out so just needed to foreshadow things every now and then to help tie things up Years of watching slow-burn anime have gotten me adept at cliffhangers as well haha
Bruh imagine how Dustin must have been feeling if he was awake to see that the only other guy in there had every girl in his bed 😆 Ori do be channeling her tsundere side nice though; she top cute when she's jealous At least she made up with Agnes in the end though, who got over being choked rather quickly haha
