Wow, that was the best Note From The Author I've ever read! 😂 Aradia and Author-chan you both did a great job!
First of all, thank you for the mention, and tbh you deserve all the support Bikergirlhacker, and don't worry, the only way from here is up! I can't wait to see what you have in store for us next and I'm here for it all the way 🤩
Okay sooo! A few words about the story.
First of all, the writing. For me Aradia's narration was one of the most enjoyable aspects of the story, and not only because she's really fun as a character but also because you implemented the fact that she's ruler of Hell whenever it was necessary. Like when she refers to God as Grandad, how she didn't know what a TV was at first and all those little details that, trust me, didn't go unnoticed. Also, the chapters were not short and not long either, making for a really satisfying read in a day to day basis.
Okay now! Onto the characters!
First of all, Aradia, our lead. Like I said, she's extremely fun to read, and her narrations never fail to make me smile. She's come a long way from being ruler of hell, to experiencing love, questioning herself, and in the end, realizing what it is that she wants from her life. We could see all those different stages loud and clear through your writing.
Secondly we have KAI! Now that is a character that for me is the second lead of the series. Of course he is the romantic interest, who has a really sad backstory if I'm being honest. At first he was hungry for revenge just like Aradia, but he soon realized that he had found something much more valuable by his side, and was able to lay his feelings to rest and start anew. Now I wish I could have seen him act more like badass sometimes, and not be just there for emotional support, but that is just my personal opinion and his character is pretty cool as is. I mean, he manned up in the end and confessed to the girl so that deserves props 😜
Now Dad Lucifer! I'm well aware that he comes from the show, but they way you've written his lines shows how much you've studied the show and that you portrayed him in a way i could clearly visualise. In the end, he was dad of the century, as he left earth for hell, so his daugther could be happy. Again he went through some phases too, but at the end he got his act together and become a rolemodel for all Dads!
Aunt Maze was awesome, altough she was a small feature compared to others, ANYA was the highlight for me! Absolutely adorable! Sakura was a ball of fluff as well, but she was gone too soon... RIP Sakura damn now I had to remind myself...
But all in all, it was a fun ride, with its respectable ups and downs, that in the end i will come back to whenever i'm feeling down 😁
