Honestly Luc congratulations for finishing and for writing such a fun, engaging and easy to follow story! You always cook so that ain’t new but I cannot not say that you did an amazing job! 👏 The vibe and prose were so fun and relaxing to read, the events kept throwing twist after twist at you and the glitch mechanics gave it such a fresh feel! You’ve always written good character dynamics and once again you’ve created an amazing cast to follow 🥹 Haruma was such a cool main character simply because he went from no confidence fearful dude who winged everything to someone who could be relied on. Solid development throughout! Bro there are many things I could say about this story but honestly the character development for the main character and the whole cast was absolutely massive! It was so satisfying to see Rei going from a clueless kid to owing the title of Hero and fighting back with his wits and courage against raw barbaric strength 🧠 always love to see the MC outsmarting the enemy for the win. And also… what a supporting cast you made… Leonoris, what a sweet sunshine she is, Nessus the orange cat in human form (always lamao when he came on screen I love), and Ettor who I wanted to slap the shit out of but at the end of the day… I get why he was like that and became a well respected dude for me. The world building you created was top notch as well bro. The Pirate Kingdom, Kounaria, the FLYING FUCKING SHIPS HOLY FUCK you’ve built one of the most exciting fantasy worlds bro. I’ve read a few light novels that ended with a teaser for next volume and I kinda liked how they set up the next arc like that so I wanted to try it out 😅 I’m kinda hopeful it won’t be a problem with the judges since the major plot for volume 1 has clearly been resolved!

Thank you for your words Mario! I know volume 1 isn’t anything groundbreaking but I’ve planned a kinda shocking plot twist for later on that separates it from the typical isekai series 👀 But then again the “generic” parts of it are written deliberately just cause generic tropes SELL whether we like it or not and make up a safe publication option. There are plenty of generic stuff in the examples of the contest like Shield Hero and Mushoku Tensei so I wanted to create a hybrid of generic + unique identity (the Lock Key gimmick, portals, world hopping etc)
