I’ve read a few light novels that ended with a teaser for next volume and I kinda liked how they set up the next arc like that so I wanted to try it out 😅 I’m kinda hopeful it won’t be a problem with the judges since the major plot for volume 1 has clearly been resolved!

I know volume 1 isn’t anything groundbreaking but I’ve planned a kinda shocking plot twist for later on that separates it from the typical isekai series 👀 But then again the “generic” parts of it are written deliberately just cause generic tropes SELL whether we like it or not and make up a safe publication option. There are plenty of generic stuff in the examples of the contest like Shield Hero and Mushoku Tensei so I wanted to create a hybrid of generic + unique identity (the Lock Key gimmick, portals, world hopping etc)
