I know I’m late but congratulations on finishing Kit! 🎉 Your writing skills have been proven to be fantastic time and again but that’s no reason not to say that you really created yet another great story here! Out of all your stories this one probably was the one I enjoyed the most tho simply because Ren is my favourite type of main character to read or watch in any media 🤝 His rise from the Beggar’s alley to fighting for something bigger and rising to the occasion really resonated with me and I can safely say you developed him perfectly! The trio they created with Shion and Zero was my favourite kind of group dynamic too! Zero was an extremely refreshing companion to read and not to mention Shion… she’s probably the most complex character out of them all fs and I can’t wait to unravel more of her! I love the way you make every character distinct, and their inner voice is so powerful. I read most of it at work through a text to speech module and I could understand who was speaking without even needing to hear the prose most of the times 😅 Milton, Nana, Hachi, Grimwick (🖕🏻), Alpha (🖕🏻🖕🏻) are all such memorable characters! The plot was very refreshing for an isekai too, having just enough familiar tropes and new refreshing twists to balance them out that it felt like reading something I’ve been wanting to for long without even knowing it!
All in all another great story from you Kit, I’m really excited to see what you cook every contest it’s become an obsession at this point ngl 😅 Thank you for writing brother, and good luck for the contest!
