My, that's quite an interesting setting. I quite like the characterisation of Woodle and Ling, especially the former. In just a short time you managed to make her memorable and her personality traits linger. Excellently done!

Time manipulation? Hmm, I wonder what she does. Maybe she's capable of altering her own time? And given that reference to space-time. Maybe she can sort of blink in and out of existence given the planet is constantly moving? Uhh, sorry the implications are just too interesting to think about!

That being said, I do think the headmaster could use a few more details about them. Or even just the presence they exude or something.

Like how they check what events correlate between the two planets, very nicely done and creative. However, I think some more detail over the effects of the cortisol production could help. How is it overwhelming? Like how are the main character's senses affected and whatnot?
