Let's just say this oba-loli has a bit more to her than she lets on. And let's just say I can't stop introducing new characters for some reason.

The spells are definitely meant to be confusing yes, haha. But basically when you acknowledge you 'lose', you get a X across you and you get sent flying to the scaffold.

So Rafaello is quite intelligent, I do like that. He has very neat deductive abilities and a good head on his shoulders. Though while I do get why he's being 'nice', I think maybe a little more time could have gone to this chapter to flesh out the dynamic a bit more? Not sure. Still a nice read though.
