I genuinely enjoyed this chapter, but I'd be remiss if I didn't mention that I found it less engaging than the previous two. In essence, we breeze through a lot of the important revelations our protagonist makes about his existence as a stat menu without seeing the satisfaction of him figuring them out over the course of these key early days with Vivian. Furthermore, we go into a sincerely interesting but also very exposition-heavy dinner scene right after, without enough focus on Vivian for me to feel as grounded as I could be. It's very clever how you found a way to work in a lot of your well-thought-through worldbuilding here, but it just feels misplaced this early, almost.
