I understand the circumstances, but the ending was way too rushed. The fight itself was mostly fine and there wouldn't be much point in having a dialogue with the crazy suicidal guy, but it would probably be better if this chapter was split in two with an epilogue to tie the loose ends later. Still, very solid first volume.
At first, I thought Hibiki would be one of those overpowered protagonists, but she ended being just a well-rounded one that knows when she can and when she can't solve a problem, and it seems that her backstory will explain why she's so well-equipped, so that's out of here.
The bombs lady ended a little flatter than Jun and Tomoe, so that you may want to fix though. Maybe it was because there was less to say about her though.
Other than that, I have nothing more to nitpick here. Well done completing your novel and I'll be waiting for the continuation if one is expected to appear (also, mine is much longer than yours, so don't force yourself to rush it all before your other read trades, I would feel bad for it being unfair).
