Not sure if it's a coincidence, but I thought it was pretty cool how Chapter 10 is named "two steps backward". If you move back two chapters, you end up with Chapter 7, which is named "half-step forward".
In the later half of Chapter 7, it's basically Saori hanging out with Shun, which could symbolize half-step forward. Forward, maybe to progress in the relationship.
In Chapter 10, Shun remembers that Saori used to be his friend. Backward, may mean going back to chapter 7.
In other words, moving back to the past when he used to be friends with Saori.
Either that or I'm just overthinking this too much lmao
