Yes! :D Sorry, yeah that was more her thinking you know how certain types of guys often just end up going by their surnames in life and their first names just sort of fade away. I remember the kids at school like that.
There are probably bits and pieces of motoko, deckard from do androids dream of electric sheep, akira and other katsuhiro otomo worlds, all smashed up and swirled around re-emerging in different places in this. I love motoko though. I actually had Lee byung-hun in my head as Sato :D

Thank you! Oh, that’s an interesting take :D No, it’s not inspired by psycho pass but I can definitely see the cyberpunk relation — I did enjoy the first season of psycho pass though. Maybe ghost in the shell made more of an impression on me but you can never tell what’s informing your subconscious even when you don’t mean it, i think.
