I didn't want to make it immediate that they were being shot at, I wanted to give room for dialogue, however, I guess I went too far.
As for that sentence, it's not a matter of logic, the pedophiles gather there because they know that the Machine Men are not protected and they think they are inferior, not human, however, then they have to complain if they commit inhumane actions.
That was the sense.
The last bit I did quickly on purpose, maybe it was actually too abrupt, I will try to revise it and in case I make it more balanced.
