So the eeeend!!
Pleasant little reading overall. I think Moe Tie already did a detailed feedback, so I won't make a long post but I mainly agree.

The characters are indeed nice to be around but the main ones would deserve more flesh, the most forgettable one despite her role being Mikkah, to my eyes.

Another thing that may be used as that ''extra pinch of something'' the book would need according to Moe Tie may be your ability to infuse that atmosphere you put in chapter 2 (which remains my favourite by far). Although true it would be a massive work but I think the kind of descriptions you performed there is one of your strength, and I'd love to read a book of yours where this side shines.

A note on the prose as it really started to dampen the reading fron a certain point: too, really honestly TOO much of these ''as best as [...] can" and more generally of "as [...] as [...] can ." Sometimes I spotted three or more per chapter and I wished I had an axe to slaughter them

This said, congrats for finishing on time! And good luck for the current contest if you end up participating u.u
