Last chapter I was about to say that after thinking about it, I found Itsuki a bit off for running straight to the village, because what would happen to Sayaka? So I'm glad you whipped my doubts away here and that he himself reflected about his behaviour. Humu, humu uwu
Here what lets me a bit more doubtful is the reaction of the young girl. Like. She just avoided death (for now) but there's still fire all around, danger, her sister possibly still outside in the chaos and.... She's calm? Mmm
Another thing, but really I'm just thinking aloud so feel free ro ignore me, is that I thought if Itsuki saw the girl's sister and was bothered by the Diluvian woman the scene would even gain in tension
