I think this tale is a biting criticism to post-capitalist fascism in which the youth of today has to love in a dog eats dog world, where it is kill or be killed, live and let die, not unlike a society that functions on amplifying the chasm between classes, so that the ones on top see the ones at the bottom like ants, and the cycle deepens. What we live in isn't a utopia or a dystopia, but a hungry animal. It years, however, for truth, not to hunt. This thought-provoking piece might anger those who feel deep within their loins that this, too, is talking about them, nipping at their psyche, telling them that it's them being critiqued, but alas, it's so easy to bite back instead of accepting that sometimes you're part of the problem. Shine on, you crazy diamond. [e/10]
