okay but why is the dialogue bold
I read this other webnovel years ago where one character's dialogue was always highlighted, because he claimed to be an alien and it was implied he talked in a very magnanimous way, so it worked, and it was pretty funny. I thought it'd be something like that here with his mom's dialogue being highlighted instead, but it seems to happen to everyone? I don't get it.

not gonna lie, I feel like you could've condensed the first three chapters into one, ended in the same place, and achieved the same things :'P

again, I must reinstate that I did not wake up today expecting to read about middle schoolers discussing about nutjuice

P.S. I WISH LISA HAD A RATE-UP. SERIOUSLY, MINE IS ONLY C1 AND SHE WAS ONE OF THE FIRST UNITS I BUILD YEARS AGO LIKE COME ONN

Ykno, I think you kind of nailed it when it comes to awkward 13 year old boy thoughts. To an uncomfortable degree >-> (not criticism, I just did not wake up today expecting to read about a middle schooler's wet boxers)

stuttering 101
Try reading it aloud. How nature does it sound? Does t-t-t-this sound less forced than something with a c-consonant with which you're not closing your m-m-m-mouth?

Anyway, after the long, angsty separation scene, it's time to see them reunite (?).

it's cool that there movies like these still get made, where it doesn't feel like the director thinks you're so stupid and devoid of introspection that their work will bore you without explosions every 5 seconds
having said that, while I get the intention behind the scene, it feels pretty on the nose, as though you'd seen or felt the same thing before and wanted to talk about it yet forgot to filter it through a 'literary' lens so to say, which is kind of ironic given the context
even though there is an attempt to show, a lot of the time, it ends up being telling. she 'felt like' this and that. maybe obviating 'felt' could help a bit more. I don't remember the term, but somebody seeing/hearing/feeling often ends up distancing rather than the alternative. as in 'she saw something beautiful' vs. 'she saw something that (insert body language response here).
Alternatively it could be that the way she interprets things is just simple, which is also fine, but it doesn't seem like you were going for that based on the language employed and intent I thought I perceived. Still, I digress. It's not bad by any means, just, ykno :P

man, poor alice
I thought she'd be madder about the konya situation but apparently not (?)
it sucks that she's probably going to distance herself from daisuke and probably kiyoshi now ;-; and with the way things go in these stories she might grow resentful of konya and kiyoshi
but like she's also a really nice person so idk
