Out of curiosity, what POV is this supposed to be in? given how often it jumps from character thought to character thought and the way it describes feelings with adjectives and adverbs instead of showing them gives me old-ish third person omniscient POV. I haven't read many stories like this lately, so that's interesting
the events themselves are certainly very anime-y tho

off-topic, but I also got a story set in osaka and tbh I didn't bother trying to highlight the different way of speaking
I've seen some LNs and stuff translate to 'redneck' speak with... varying results. idk, not sure if we can even get close to portraying it differently. Maybe? But then how exactly? not a criticism or anything, just something I thought of

leaving aside grammar mistakes, while I like the narration, I feel like they sound the same, so it caught me off-guard whenever I saw 'ayato said' instead of 'I said'. ik this was posted years ago so you might not be looking for feedback or anything, but I though it was worth mentioning. Maybe leaning more into their personalities could work? As in, Ayato is a lot more straightforward (no pun intended) and stoic while Nemura is more self-conscious and emotional. Something like that.
