that agent is cringe
tho I guess prog metal is niche, but like... would an agency accepting prog metal also accept jrock? also, I guess we call it that on this side of the world, but I suppose jrock in, ykno, japan, is a broader term? like there's glam rock and math rock and hard rock and some of them have less in common with each other than they do with prog rock
idk i'm talking out of my ass though, just making assumptions
just seems kind of strange to me as someone with little to no knowledge to music is all
also, I honestly couldn't tell that she was meant to be 'better' from either the agent or the audience's eyes the last few chapters tbh, because of the fishless lake problem I mentioned earlier
there seems to be little to no shift in tone even when they're doing their breakdown of the week in front of each other, let alone during the moments when they're playing and whatnot, so if there was supposed to be suspense somewhere, I unfortunately could not tell x_x I couldn't even tell what the card was meant to be until this chapter, so him feeling so down kind of caught me off guard because it feels like... 'oh... I guess that happened' rather than 'NOO WHY'
idk
pretty based of issei to be baritone tho, no pun intended
as a music enthusiast, especially for these genres, I feel like a bit more color would've made the last few chapters stand out a lot more
ykno how in music anime characters are randomly having epiphanies and flashbacks about their tragic backstory midsong even tho irl we just kind of freeze and hope not to mess up when performing? yeahh, that happens for a reason
it's not "realistic" I suppose, but it adds more emoshun to the performance
I wonder when the family's gonna see her performing and be like RRR THAT'S WHERE U ARE U WALKING NOBEL and attempt to force her back into college
