You are correct about that, but it’s still nice to have a moment or two for the audience to have a breather 😄 per my usual style the melodrama will be returning in style.
Walter White voice: “You got me!” 😂and Yuna means “kind” or “friendly”. I like my low hanging fruit naming devices from time-to-time. It’s an unusual honorific, for sure.

I can totally understand why it feels that way so far. 👍 There might be a method to my madness, but we’ll have to see how I write my way out of it (since I largely write chapter-to-chapter lol)

Good observation! The failsafe is an important measure to prevent Hunters from roaming around and making the lives of the Digiscape denizens a living hell. Otherwise the place would be a feudalist society of the strongest fighters since there’s otherwise no policing force yet.
Archie is a favorite of mine too. Imagine going to apply for a job at Walmart and getting to list “Digital Exterminator” on your application. Experience is experience 😤

Jiro has that main character plot motivation now 💪 I feel like every character in Memoria has something to hide. 🫣 The fun part will be unearthing all their secrets and learning how guiltless everyone is. It might end up flipping who the “evil” and “good” ones are by story’s end… or at least our perception of it.

Radio must be having a tough day, from mowing down grunts to fighting the detective to a draw and then taking his first real L 😅 I like what Katsu said, he got the existentialism beat into him 😭 that’s tuff indeed. At least he got that data for his trouble.
Now THIS is progression fantasy 👏 I gotta say, other than the comedy which is pretty nice on its own, I like that each chapter thus far has served a purpose towards getting their business up and running. Good stuff.

You know what, I’ll allow that joke 😂 Having a laugh after the last couple chapters isn’t the worst thing. Archie seems to be weak against flattery, same tbh. A lot of characters so far have passed through with minor appearances but we should start to see the familiar faces stick now that were in the thick of things.
We all needed a nice intermission after the last couple chapters 💯 Sadly cruelty exists inside and outside of the Digiscape, but at least it’s a lot more colorful and action-packed. Stay tuned to see one of my favorite characters 🤩
