Like the Captain, I don’t know quite what to make of the Mayor. I was surprised to have a chapter fully outside the POVs of Dorian and Avery but it worked well to provide some background, I think.

I’ve played a great many games and I’m crazy about Elder Scrolls, but I’ve never gotten around to playing Fallout 🤔 (which will seem pretty ironic in a couple chapters) it’s safe to say the fun and quirky isekai shenanigans have already worn their welcome for Jiro though.

I love MMORPGs. FFXIV, ESO, PSO2. I feel pretty bad for Daiki, as does Akai. He just wants a taste of freedom in a highly militarized society. I can’t imagine that part of the job will get any easier.
It looks like Akai and Hideo are going to have to learn to get along through mission experience, but that was quite a wake-up call if I do say so 😵💫 I hope their gaming skills are up to par or the jig could be up before it begins…
That guy was both terrified of Sarge and ready to get the suplex treatment all in the same moment 😂 and I can’t say I blame him. I didn’t, however, expect a sprinkle of drama there at the end. But I’m intrigued now.

I think Dingleberry is my new favorite character to latch on to. There’s something funny about a farm kid flying around delivering packages like an Amazon driver 🧑🌾 and he has a winning attitude.

As a big guy I can say, never bet on lunch with a big guy 😂 that’s just a losing battle, Jessie boy. That reminds me of an old arcade system we used to have in my garage called “Aero Fighters”. Great times.
Things are starting to kick into gear now ⚙️ Looking forward to seeing our time cops take on the black market and continue busting some illegal time shenanigans.
Radio took the words right out of my mouth there at the end. 😆 I audibly said “did he really just let someone get away alive??”. That detective is a crafty one, for sure. It was nice to learn a little more about androids and what motivates radio as a character.

I went on vacation and had a lot less time to write than I would have liked so I missed a couple posts 😅 but I appreciate that you were looking forward to it! Some interesting interactions are set to occur when Jiro returns to the Digiscape next chapter…
