I like this prophet guy. I would say he’s wise beyond his years, but he’s got a LOT of years on him already 😂 I also suspected Raiga was cursed. For people to instantly recognize him most everywhere he goes, and hate him so passionately before they’re gotten a chance to know him. It’s a shame, but the greatest mystery to me still is how Emi is unaffected by the curse…

I’m doing well, Ichi! (if I might call you that) I use italics to highlight intonation and emphasis more than titles, so when they said their fake names they were very much doing it in a sarcastic way 😆 I also use italics for internal dialogue, which is a bit more common in some of the novels I’ve read. I’m really happy you liked Kite, and her progression throughout the story so far. She’s presented very pessimisticly at first, but we quickly learn that it’s a defense mechanism she’s developed from years of trusting people only to have her heart broken. She’s a total softie, which, our newest character and her have a lot in common—which is why you’ll often see them butt heads. Such is the way of tsun, and having them both in Felix’s orbit will be interesting, because, as you said, they are very different than our main character. Now that we’ve reached the halfway point, I’m looking forward to writing not only the rest of this story but a lot more fantasy in the future. Thanks for reading and sharing your thoughts, as always! 😁 and to anyone browsing this comment as well. By the way, I hadn’t thought of orange and strawberry as a combo, but I’ll have to try now. 🍊
