Not gonna lie, I got a bit choked up reading this one. But believe me they’re happy tears 🥲💝 I’m essentially in Jun’s shoes here. I want Mia to live a happy life. Both of them, they deserve the world. It’s sad that it won’t include Roki, but his gaze is on our wonderful sorceress 🧙‍♀️ (and do I spy an admission of feels from Mia too 👀)

I think everything was beautifully said between the two of them, and Mia’s character growth up to now was well apparent in that exchange too. One of your very best chapters, thanks for writing. ✍️

Resident Schoolmate, is that a reference to Resident Evil by chance? 😈 Other than the wonky camera angles in those games, I always used to enjoy watching my dad play (even though I’d end up with nightmares for days like Ichika lolol) “While Kotone had no chill…” is the perfect transition sentence. 😂 never change imouto-chan. Now that you’re describing the gameplay it sounds a lot like slender man too, but that’s a lot of horror games of that type. 🔪 HIDE THE STASH, HARUHI 🤦‍♂️ go digital, man. Ichika using the oldest trick in the book to get closer, I respect it. Loved this chapter. 🫶

I loved revisiting earlier parts of the story through this set of narrations 📖 generally it was pretty easy to understand, but it took me a moment to realize that it was a re-telling of what would have happened if they hadn’t met. Because fate insists that poor Nao gets hit with a soccer ball 😆⚽️ It’s nice to know that even if things didn’t work out for Tsuno in the tournament, they’re drawn together still. 💖 On to the next challenge!
